Materials
94% Lyocell 6% Elastan
Buttons: Mother-of-pearl
Lyocell is a smooth, soft fibre made from wood pulp, with a slightly cool feel. It is breathable and wicks moisture well, so it stays comfortable where polyester can feel sticky. It is strong, but the fibre is naturally biodegradable. Most lyocell is made in a closed-loop process that reuses its chemicals.
Mother-of-pearl is the shimmering inner layer of mollusc shells, used for buttons and trim. Each piece has its own lustre and a cool, smooth feel that plastic imitations rarely match. It is hard and durable, though it can chip if knocked. It isn’t made from petroleum and doesn’t shed microplastics.
As we recommend to make all your garments last longer: wash only when needed and use a gentle or hand wash cycle on cold -max 30 C degrees.
